Sorry for the tardy reply – I’m not used to the “comments” function of my website yet Those body paintings were made in a ritual I lead for the winter solstice at my studio in petaluma. 6 of us got together, did a grounding meditation, then outlined our bodies (winter is the season of the root chakra, grounding, element of earth, ancestors and the physical body.) As we painted, we focused on listening to what our intuition was telling us about what our body wants…. through color, symbols and the movement of the process…. without being too analytical about it or judging. I’ll tell you this, it was really really fun (and interesting.) THanks for making a comment.
