Classes, Workshops & Retreats Calendar 2010

The Petaluma Art House offers classes, workshops and transformational retreats that cultivate creativity and encourage self-discovery through process-based expressive arts. Self-discovery happens when we open ourselves to the Mystery and play!

Our approach is interdisciplinary because there is never only one way to get to where you are going. We explore our personal journey through many mediums: active meditation, guided visualization, painting, sewing, collage, writing, sound,  journal work, gardening & earth work, shamanic journeying, earth-based magical practices, altar building and ritual work. Classes focus on developing your intuition, connection to spirit, self confidence, trust in your own timing, knowing what is right for you, authentic self expression, and creative freedom. All folks and levels of experience are welcome. We are all beginners here.

Tentative schedule

Adult Classes

Wednesday Mornings - Ongoing Process Painting from 9:45 -12:15,  $180 for the 6 session series – includes materials. Please bring a journal, altar item and a painting smock.

Kid Classes

After-School Painting Classes

Wednesday 6 & Up -  3:30 – 4:30 PM , $160 for 8 sessions  - includes materials. Please bring a painting smock.

Mommy & Me Painting Class

Tuesdays Mommy & Me (Ages 4-5) –  3:30 – 4:30 PM, $80 for 4 sessions – includes materials. Please a painting smock for you and your child. Space is limited to 6 pairs.
